Common Dog Problems When Left at Home
We have put together a list of common dog problems when left at home all day.

Dogs need more exercise than we think they do, and if they have no other outlet for their energy, they will find one!







1.Boredom, without mental stimulation some dogs can become disruptive when left alone and looking for something to do.

2.Separation Anxiety. Dogs faced with loneliness, can become distressed when they know owners are leaving for the day.

3.Chewing, Digging and Destruction. Often caused when left alone because pets are simply looking for something to do.

4.Urinating & Defecating. Some dogs urinate or defecate when left alone or separated from their guardians for long periods.

5.Barking & Howling. When left alone or separated from guardians a pet may simply bark or howl as a cry for companionship.

6.Escaping. Especially lonely dogs trying to escape from confined areas by chewing or scraping could cause in self-injury.

7.Pacing. Dogs pacing a path in a fixed pattern when left alone or separated from their guardians can be a sign of anxiety.
